How to reopen a closed day to edit shifts

Edit roles and shift times on days that have been reviewed and closed by a manager

When does this happen?

When a manager has reviewed and approved the times for a day, the day is closed in Frontliners. After that, you can no longer edit the shifts on that day — including roles, times, or any other details.

How to do it

  1. Go to Time & Pay in the menu.
  2. Find the day you want to edit.
  3. Click Reopen day — the day is now open and the shifts can be edited.
  4. Make the changes you need in the schedule (e.g. change the role on a shift).
  5. Close the day again when you are done.

Remember to double-check the times before closing the day again.
