It is intentional behavior in Frontliners that employees can bid on open shifts even if they already have a shift that overlaps in time.

What should the manager do?

When an employee accepts an open shift with an overlap, the manager must manually decide whether to approve or reject it. This is done in the schedule under the relevant open shift.

Tip: If you do not want employees with overlapping shifts to be able to bid, you can manually reject these applications.
