Can you choose who takes over your shift?

Not exactly — but you can give one colleague a head start.

When you put a shift up for swapping, you can select a specific employee from the list. That person is the only one who receives a notification right away, giving them the chance to accept the shift before anyone else sees it.

How to do it

  1. Open the shift you want to swap in the Frontliners app.
  2. Tap Shift swap.
  3. Select the colleague you want to give first pick from the list of employees.
  4. Send the request.

The colleague receives a notification and can accept the shift. If they do not respond within a reasonable time, the shift may become visible to other employees — depending on how your workplace has set things up.
