# Where can I see the open shifts in Frontliners?

## Open shifts in Frontliners are easy to spot in the schedule view:

- Go to **Schedule**.
- Open shifts are highlighted with a **light gray color and a colored border**.
- If someone has requested the shift, it will display **"Shift request(s)"**, and you can assign the shift by clicking the colored dot.
- If a shift is open because a staff member is trying to swap it, their name will appear in parentheses.
