We have made it very easy for you to make a shift plan, and in this article, you will be taken through how to do it step-by-step.
With Frontliners, you can quickly create a shift schedule for an entire month. -If an employee has the same shift several times, you only need to create the shift once and choose to copy it.
Here's how you do it:
- Select 'Scheduling' in the menu on the left.
- Select the day menu (three dots) and choose the "Edit" icon on the day you want to start adding shifts.
- Fill in the role, time period, and employee. To insert a pause or comment on the watch, click on the setting icon. NOTE: The system will only show you, employees, who have that role and who are assigned to the place you have chosen.
- Click 'Close'.
- Once you have created the first shift, you can often save time by duplicating the shift and simply changing what needs to be changed on the next shift.
- Once you have made all the shifts in one day, then you can copy the day and paste it on all the other days.
- Once you have made all the shifts in one week, you can copy the whole week, scroll on to the next week and paste them.
- You can also save one or more weeks and "roll" it out on all the weeks you want.
- Remember to publish the shift schedule when you are ready for the employees to be able to see it.
- If you need to change in a shift, eg the time period el. similar, then simply click on the guard, select "Edit", make the change, and click 'save'.
- If you want to delete a shift, simply click on the shift and click 'Delete'.
- Have you chosen the right role on the shift?
- Is the employee assigned the correct role under 'Manage employees'.
- Is the employee assigned to the correct location under 'Manage staff'.
