How do I import sales data from EBM/Untill into Frontliners?

To import sales data from EBM/Untill into Frontliners, follow these steps:

1. Install the Windows Service on the Cash Register

  • A Windows service needs to be installed on the cash register to enable data import.
  • This service will be set up remotely by Frontliners staff.

2. Information Required for Setup

Frontliners needs the following details to configure the service:

  • Start Date: Specify the date from which sales data should be imported.
  • Endpoint Name: The database name used by EBM/Untill.
  • Username and Password: Credentials for accessing the sales data endpoint.
  • TeamViewer Access: Provide remote access to the cash register using:
    • TeamViewer ID
    • Password

3. Obtaining the Required Information

You can obtain this information by either contacting EBM/Untill directly or allowing Frontliners to handle the request. Typically, Frontliners contacts Mark Illum Scherwin (mib@ebm.dk) from EBM to gather the necessary details.

4. Setup Process

  • Once the necessary information is received, Frontliners staff will install and configure the Windows service on the cash register remotely.
  • The service will begin importing sales data starting from the specified date, making the data available in Frontliners for reporting and analysis.
